Introduction
This section of Car Quality Info uses the reliability of 4-to-6 year-old cars in order to obtain a composite measure of reliability and durability. For rating cars, brands and manufacturers, this section uses the standard method for awarding grade points - 0 for much worse than average, 1 for worse than average, 2 for average, 3 for better than average, and 4 for much better than average - and then calculates grade point averages (GPAs) and grades from these grade points.
